Strep

So Noah just got over his first real sickness, Strep Throat.  He came down with a temp of 102.7 last Thursday at about 3, so I got him from the sitters, gave him some tylenol and he perked right up.  Blamed it on teething.

Then on Friday, his fever was under control for the most part and he was just very clingy.  When Jesse got home, I had to run up to get Sierra and was in Sanger when Jesse called and his temp was up to 104.7.  =(  To the ER they went, and I got there about 8:30pm, straight from the road, didn't even swing by home.  He got diagnosed, and a RX, and we got out of there a little after 10pm.  Was a rough couple of days, but he's doing good now, back to normal.

It didn't slow down his cuteness though.  He learns a new word everyday now.

Today was "light" and he's full out "meowing" also.
Yesterday it was "really" when I was replied sarcastically to something, he said it right back.
Monday it was "bird" when some pigeons flew away as we were walking out of the mall.
Sunday was "ready" for when ever we ask him if he's ready to be picked up and he responds, and always giggles.
Saturday was "WHAT?" when everyone would get quiet, he'd just yell it out.
And he is saying "Thank You" when he gets handed something, or he's handing something to us.
Also "Blues Clues" and he's singing right along with the song, what words he can make out.

And of course, when he's sleepy, he starts singing the "baby" part of "Noah Baby."

I wonder what he'll learn tomorrow!

I'm Batman

So I've set my ringtone notification to say "I'm Batman" every time I get a text message.  Today, Noah has decided he needs to imitate it every time it goes off.

Here he is trying to say "I'm Batman"

My baby is awesome.

Cheese and a Little Jig

So here's a short vid of Noah saying "Cheese" which he almost automatically does now when I hold my phone up to take his picture...  Then we were trying to get him to show off his dance moves which he only KINDA did.  Guess he just wasn't in a dancing mood tonight.

Also, he's learned out to drink through a straw, yay!!

Swimming Pool Monster

K, so we need an update.  This isn't for lack of Noah doing cute things and us not being able to capture them... more of a "we are just lazy" problem. 

So here is the swimming pool monster.  Apparently, swimming pools can be fun with our without water!  Parent supervision always a must though!

Jesse got a ton of pictures of Noah's first time IN the pool.  He'll post those.  As soon as he figures out how.

The Magic of Song

So here is Noah, completely ignoring me.  No matter what funny sounds I made, he just wasn't going to turn around.  Until I get the idea to burst into song, and as soon as I start singing Itsy Bitsy Spider, instant smile!!!

He loves this song, and we have a lot of toys that play it so he's really familiar with it.  The hand movements fascinates him, but he's still not quite sure how I do it, he sure does give it a try!

Isty Bitsy Spider went up the water spout!

Down came the rain and washed the spider out!

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,

And the Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the spout again!

Kazoo!

So, Sierra and I went off to the Dollar Tree and brought back a hole bunch of goodies for Noah to play with.  Got him a nice ball, some bubbles, and the little Kazoo thingies.  We totally blew his mind when we first started messing with them, then we gave him his.  He wanted to try his out right away, but couldn't figure out how to make the same sound we were making.  But then he figured this out...  Problem solved!

And... Ignore the messy house, Noah hits the place like a hurricane every day.

Flasher Baby!!

Brace yourselves, Flasher baby is coming.

Noah has now figured out how to remove his shirt... kinda.  He can get his PJ shirt off, but this is what I caught while he was in his highchair.  Still a bit too restricted to fully deshirt himself in there, he got himself in a bit a predicament. Or maybe it's just a fashion statement.
